Vaccination Policy

In keeping with the goals of providing a freely-accessible environment for everyone, Secular Families on the Palouse (SFOTP) expects all activity participants to be mindful of the spread of illness. We want to keep all of those taking part in activities as healthy as possible. The best science shows that maintaining a vaccine schedule not only prevents the contraction of serious disease and illness but also prevents their spread, via herd immunity, to those who cannot be immunized (newborns and those with compromised or limited immunity). It is, therefore, SFOTP’s policy that, in the event of a local outbreak of vaccine-preventable illness, all unvaccinated participants who do not have a physician’s recommendation against immunization, should forego attendance in our activities until the outbreak has been contained. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
